Kate is enrolled in an acting class in a nearby children's theatre and they had their first production at Christmas time. She was so excited about it the night before that she could hardly sleep... but then right as we pulled out of the driveway, she started to cry and felt extremely nervous. We stopped and prayed as a family for God to give her peace and confidence. It was a sweet time for us to be able to encourage her and cover her in prayer - and God answered our prayers. By the time we were at the theatre, she was skipping into the theatre and couldn't wait to perform. Here are a few pics before we left...
She enjoyed performing so much that she decided to try out for "The Jungle Book" this week at the theatre - such fun for a mama who loves all things musical theatre!
